Collaborative behavior support for your clients and your team

Pet Harmony partners with veterinary clinics to support clients navigating complex behavior concerns, especially where medical and behavioral needs intersect. We see behavior care as an essential part of a pet’s overall health, and we work best as part of a collaborative care team.

Whether you’re looking for a trusted referral partner or helpful behavior resources for your clients, we’re here to support your clinic and the families you serve.

How Pet Harmony Supports Vet Clinics

A behavior referral you can trust

The majority of our clients come from veterinary referrals, and we value close collaboration with clinics on shared cases. Many behavior challenges, like aggression, anxiety, fear, compulsive behaviors, and separation anxiety, have overlapping medical and emotional components. Working together leads to better outcomes for everyone.

We specialize in behavior cases where:

  • Clients report they’ve “tried training before and it didn’t work”
  • Emotional health, stress, or fear are driving behavior
  • Progress requires long-term support and empathy

Collaborative care for mutual clients

When appropriate, we communicate directly with veterinary teams about shared clients. In many cases, it’s more efficient (and less stressful for the client) when professionals can coordinate directly rather than relying on messages passed back and forth.

We view ourselves as an extension of the care team, supporting behavioral and emotional health in the same way veterinary teams support physical health.

Staff training & education

We offer in-clinic training and educational sessions tailored to your team’s needs. Topics may include:

  • Understanding maladaptive behavior through a behavior-consulting lens
  • Supporting clients with fear, anxiety, aggression, and separation-related concerns
  • Setting realistic expectations for behavior change and follow-through
  • Reducing stress for pets and people during behavior treatment

Sessions are practical, non-judgmental, and grounded in real-world cases.

Free client resources for your clinic

We provide free, evidence-informed client resources that clinics can share directly with families. These materials help:

  • Support clients immediately
  • Normalize seeking help for behavior struggles
  • Set expectations around behavior change

Many clinics start here as a simple way to support clients and explore collaboration with us.

"I love collaborating with Pet Harmony. Their trainers and behavior consultants are kind, caring, and professional and they always take care to create thoughtful training plans that don't overwhelm the client."

The Pet Harmony Approach

R+, Fear-Free Training made for real life

Pet Harmony is a behavior consulting practice- not a traditional training business.

Since 2016, we have specialized in complex behavior cases, like aggression, anxiety, fear, and compulsions, and take a whole-family approach, considering:

  • Emotional and behavioral health of the pet
  • Human capacity, stress, and safety
  • Real-life constraints of the household

Our work is collaborative, compassionate, and firmly non-judgmental. We don’t offer one-off “fix the dog” solutions. We build sustainable plans that support long-term behavioral and emotional health.

"Pet Harmony takes amazing care of the pets and their caretakers. The trainers are so talented and compassionate, and they are also great with the pet parents, providing great summaries and written training plans. As a veterinarian with a passion for helping animals emotionally, I need trainers with the best skills and the most empathy. That is Pet Harmony."
