Write Faster, More Effective Training Plans in 3 Days or Less

.

It used to take me an hour to write one training plan-
sound familiar?

And after all that effort, I’d find out that my clients didn’t do half of what I recommended. Why am I even writing these darn things if no one is reading them?!

After a while, I started putting off writing training plans because it took so much time and I had so little to show for it.

But I knew that I was doing a disservice to my clients by not giving my human learners the resources they needed to succeed. I needed to find a solution…

“Thank you so much for the 3-day training plan challenge! I’m already putting the template into action and just popped out an initial consult plan in less than 15! These were my real struggles with me agonizing over phrasing and explanations while trying to keep things concise! Not any more!!”

AMANDA

I now write one training plan in 15 minutes-
and you can too!

I’ve spent a lot of time trying out different training plan templates until I found one that works for me, our team of consultants, and our clients!

Best of all?

My clients regularly reference their training plans so I know it works.

I’ve done the trial and eval so you don’t have to.

“SO WHY SHOULD I WRITE TRAINING PLANS FOR MY CLIENTS IN THE FIRST PLACE?”

Achieving Desired Outcomes Starts With a Strong Strategy

If you’re serious about getting results you and your clients can be proud of, a custom training plan is a non-negotiable!

When you equip your clients with a plan that caters to their unique needs and goals, they’ll have the confidence to implement the strategy you put together between sessions.

Remember: Whatever is tracked can be managed and whatever is measured can be improved. Your training plan can set your clients up for success!

“I just need to say that what I learned gave me IMMEDIATE and VALUABLE time saving advice!  The template is in full use on my Google drive.  I can even do voice to text notes in the car while I’m going to next client!!!  Thank you so much!”

“isn’t using video for training plans more convenient?”

Video may seem like the most convenient method for consultation but it may not be the ideal solution for several reasons. Here’s why:

  • You need client consent for videoing and will have to work around those that are uncomfortable with video
  • You need to invest in the proper tech set up, storage, and video sharing methods
  • You’re less likely to be covered from a liability standpoint if your recommendations are not in writing
  • Clients are less likely to watch an hour-long video than read through a written training plan

Don’t get us wrong, we love using video and it can still be part of the solution! But when it comes to achieving training goals quickly, the written component of our strategy is far more important.

In other words, we use video in conjunction with written training plans to get the best of both worlds.

“Hey, I just want to give you some feedback on the workshop for writing training plans. I used it today for the first time with a new client and it felt so good to write plan because it was easy and so clear for me. Thank you for showing me how to make this part of my job easier. It actually was fun to write the plan, for the first time.”

LET’S BE HONEST, YOU HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO…

What You Can Do With an Extra Hour of Time Instead of Writing a Training Plan...

Take an afternoon nap (with a furry friend or two!)

Go on a walk with your dog

Create more client resources you know they’ll thank you for

Dedicate more time for playing with your pets

Step outside to enjoy the sunshine

“Seeing the way Pet Harmony uses worksheets for training plans was a total game changer for me. Before, I used to take at least an hour, even with a template. [Now] I’m good to go in 15mins or less. It takes more time checking it over because I can’t believe I’ve done it so quickly than it actually takes to write it.

And even better – I know my clients are using it. They reference it, they stick it on the fridge to remind them what they are doing that week. We all win.”
