Hands-On Instructions for Unit 2.1

Here are the instructions for completing the hands-on tasks:

• Find opportunities to care for and work with your secondary species of interest. (You can stop doing your dog-related volunteer opportunities if it is incompatible with this new hands-on experience.)  Be sure to practice the basics of animal care with this species: feeding, cleaning, providing enrichment, etc.
• Begin working with at least one project animal in your secondary species.
• Continue working with your project dog(s).
• Start assisting in group classes and private sessions, if you haven’t done so already.
